Our Journey & Legacy

Founded in 2013 by seasoned industry veteran Benetté DeVera, Mrs.Bzzz (pronounced "Bees") Pest & Termite Solutions emerged from a deep-rooted passion for pest management and community service. Prior to Mrs.Bzzz, Benetté and her husband, Brian DeVera, built and grew Shamrock Pest Management in Montgomery, NY, operating out of a two‑bedroom apartment, then expanded to Team Shamrock in Naples, FL—marking over two decades of expertise even before Mrs.Bzzz was born. Since 2013, Mrs.Bzzz has proudly offered comprehensive pest control services including insect, termite, rodent, and wildlife remediation for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.

Expanding the Team & Growing Services

In 2020, Mrs.Bzzz broadened its operations by acquiring Abbed Pest Control of Totowa, NJ—an established firm founded in 1977. The acquisition was masterfully brokered by Brian DeVera, reinforcing the company’s growth trajectory. By 2021, the management team welcomed Randi Courtney Bowen as Office Manager and Brendan DeVera as Service Manager—fortifying leadership for future expansion.

Branching Out Across the Region

  • New York (2022): In June, a new branch was opened in Walden, NY, serving the Hudson Valley counties—including Orange, Ulster, Dutchess, and Sullivan—helmed by Managing Partners Anthony and Tommy Romeo.
  • Additional NY Expansion (2023): A further location was launched in Croton Falls, NY, expanding service coverage to Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, and Rockland counties.
